THE TRI-CITY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AWARDS OVER $17,000 TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS

The Advisory Committee of the Tri-City Community Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded $17,406 to six organizations in its 2023 competitive grant cycle. These funds will address the needs of communities in Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach in efforts to improve the quality of life of its residents.

The 2023 grantees include Sight Savers America, NAMI Baldwin, the South Baldwin Literacy Council, the Liberty Learning Foundation, the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation, and the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo Foundation.

“The Tri-City Community Foundation is dedicated to creating a lasting charitable impact in the local community,” said Ed Douglas, chair of the Tri-City Advisory Committee. “We will continue to support organizations that bolster our communities with strength and resiliency.”

The committee overseeing the Tri-City Community Foundation consists of Ed Douglas, David Lee, Tammy Busby, Ginny Barnas, Wade Bradford, Matt Grant, Bob Higgins, Michelle Hodges, Steve Jones, Christi Koehle, Herb Malone, and Donna Watts. Together, they determine what areas to focus on within the Tri-City Communities. Through concerted grantmaking, the Foundation gives these local leaders an opportunity to make a difference in Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.
