THE TRI-CITY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION AWARDS OVER $21,000 TO LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
The Advisory Committee of the Tri-City Community Foundation is pleased to announce it has awarded $21,322 to six organizations in its 2024 competitive grant cycle. These funds will address the needs of communities in Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach in efforts to improve the quality of life of its residents.
The 2024 grantees include CARE House, Inc., YMCA of South Alabama, South Baldwin Chamber Foundation, South Baldwin Literacy Council, Liberty Learning Foundation, Inc., and Sight Savers America.
“The Tri-City Community Foundation will always support organizations that are dedicated to improving the quality of life in Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach,” said Ed Douglas, chair of the Tri-City Advisory Committee.
The committee overseeing the Tri-City Community Foundation consists of Ed Douglas, David Lee, Tammy Busby, Wade Bradford, Kim Frank, Matt Grant, Bob Higgins, Michelle Hodges, Steve Jones, and Christi Koehle. Together, they determine what areas to focus on within the Tri-City Communities. Through concerted grantmaking, the Foundation gives these local leaders an opportunity to make a difference in Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.
