Unity in the Community

Grace Fellowship Church in Atmore, Ala., received a grant from the Community Foundation of South Alabama’s Closing the Opportunity Gap Fund in 2019. Grace Fellowship hosted the Unity in the Community Festival, a family-friendly day of fun for more than 200 families from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds in the Atmore community. The event provided community members with information on various services available to assist them as they raise their children. The families in attendance also received school uniforms and school supplies to help prepare for a successful school year. The Community Foundation of South Alabama will always support families and children in Southwest Alabama.
