About SHARE Southwest Alabama

The Community Foundation of South Alabama is one of three partners selected to receive a Gulf Coast Healthy Communities Project grant from the Louisiana Public Health Institute to develop a community data and communications website.

SHARE Southwest Alabama is a web-based platform for data about our community. Covering the counties of Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, and Washington, SHARE serves as a tool for a larger purpose:

  • Support coalition building efforts for local and/or regional planning – not just limited to health or clinical issues
  • Explore our region’s strengths and challenges through user friendly Community Dashboards
  • Provide communities with the tools and resources to take action and accelerate positive community change
