The Community Foundation of South Alabama would like to thank each veteran and family member of a veteran who participated in the Southwest Alabama Veterans Needs Assessment and the many community partners who have supported and promoted this effort.
In Spring 2017, The Community Foundation of South Alabama engaged a select group of veterans and community members to serve on a Veterans Initiative Advisory Committee. The purpose of the advisory committee is to review the results of the assessment report and assist the Foundation with its strategy to address the needs of our veterans and their families. Based on the advisory committee’s recommendation, the Community Foundation is proud to announce a funding opportunity through its Veterans Initiative.
