Support Our Affiliates
The Community Foundation of South Alabama creates partnerships with neighboring communities through affiliate funds. Each fund represents one community and is led by an advisory committee of residents from that community. The affiliate fund is charged with carrying out the mission of the Foundation. Committee members make recommendations about how the charitable dollars are spent, and the Foundation bears the legal responsibility to ensure that the funds are then used in compliance with donor intent.

Create an Affiliate Fund
An affiliate can be established with a $25,000 minimum field of interest fund. It represents one community and is led by an advisory committee of residents from that community. The affiliate fund is charged with carrying out the mission of the Foundation.
